02-22 Nov 09 Team Selection Training Camp, Ostersund, Sweden

Summer training is finally coming to an end as the whole team prepares to move out to Ostersund, Sweden for the next few weeks.  Team selection races will be held from the 18th onwards.

12-13 Sept 09 – German Summer Biathlon Championships (Biathlon Deutsche Meisterschaft)

In a fortnight from now I will be competing in my first official rollerski biathlon race.  I’m slightly nervous, perhaps because it is my first opportunity to race against big names like Wilhelm and Hitzer.  I hope to finish within 20% of the winner and if I do it will be a good result for me.

25-27 Sept 09 – World Summer Biathlon Championships

A good result in Ruhpolding should see me race in the World Summer Biathlon Championships for the first time!
